Classic Car Overview

INTRODUCTION: I assure you, this car is dialed in and ready for show and go. Its the personal car of someone who works here, and I know firsthand that this is his baby. One look at the tough stance and L88 hood tells you this car means business, and it delivers! Under the hood is a 454 pumping out 560 horsepower, backed by a Tremec 5-speed and a 4.11 posi. It has the looks, the power, and its dialed in.

EXTERIOR: The fit and finish is amazing. The body is arrow straight with no rust or damage, and the gaps line up square and flush. Full GM quarter panels were installed, and it has a steel hood with an L88 scoop grafted onto it. The glass finish Cardinal Red is slick, accented with painted smooth to the touch stripes. It has a tall rear spoiler and a front spoiler for a great muscle car look. Up front it has the desirable split bumper look along with LED lights. The grille, bumpers, bumper guards, emblems and headlight bezels look new. Along each side, the moldings, emblems, and window trim look new as well. In back, the LED taillights, bumper and emblem are in excellent shape. The windshield is new, and the weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. The stance is killer with a new set of 15 inch Cragar wheels wrapped in new fat BFGoodrich tires. It has that tough guy muscle car stance that looks right from every angle.

INTERIOR: The deluxe interior looks practically new from the carpet to the headliner. In front of me is a new dash pad and a woodgrain instrument panel with a full set of factory gauges, including a tachometer and clock. The steering wheel shows hardly any wear, while the heater controls, vents and glove box are all very nice. It has a new retro stereo in the factory location with 6x9 speakers in back. The center console is home to a Hurst 5-speed shifter along with auxiliary volt, oil pressure and fuel economy gauges. Down on the floor, the carpet looks new. The deluxe seats have been reupholstered and have good cushions, and the door panels are in mint condition. All the plastic trim is excellent, the headliner and visors look real nice, the dome light works, and it has seatbelts front and back.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This big block 454 is putting out approximately 560 horsepower. Inside, its been upgraded with a new crankshaft, Crane cam and Moroso oil pump. On top is an EnduraShine Edelbrock intake with a big dual feed Holley carburetor, while a set of headers and HEI ignition help wake it up even further. Its dressed up with a set of cast aluminum valve covers along with chrome pulleys and brackets It also has a new alternator, power steering and new power brakes. The radiator looks new and is equipped with a large electric fan. All the surrounding metal surfaces are painted and detailed very nicely.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Agas strut raises the lid and you will find a very tidy trunk. Its all clean metal with a neatly applied spatter finish paint. Under the trunk lid and the jamb are finished in gloss red. The jack and spare assembly are properly bolted down, and it has new rear seat insulation, weatherstrip and decals.

UNDERSIDE: The front end steering and suspension were completely disassembled, rebuilt and painted. Welded in frame connectors tie the front and rear together, while CalTrac traction bars help plant the power out back. The springs, bushings and shocks were replaced. It has a Pypes 3-inch exhaust system with an X-pipe and SpinTech 9000 mufflers. Disc brakes are used up front, the emergency brake assembly is hooked up, and the fuel tank and sending unit were replaced. Looking up at the engine, its clean and fitted with an extra capacity oil pan and high torque starter. Thats followed by a Tremec 5-speed transmission with a Centerforce clutch and Lakewood bellhousing. Power is sent back to a 12-bolt rear end with 4.10 gears, an Eaton posi and Strange 30-spline axles and a chrome cover. The floors look solid; they were prepped and undercoated for a clean, protected finish.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: When I say I look at thousands of cars a year, thats no exaggeration- and Im telling you, someone is getting a good one right here! I know this car firsthand. Its dialed in, proven, and ready to be enjoyed from the minute it arrives. Buy it with confidence, turn the key, and have some fun!
