1973 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible

My own car owned 12 years and was a daily driver for 6 years. As much as I would like to keep it and fix a few issues - I never get time to drive it and it seems a a shame to let it just sit. It needs a new home and maybe yours...............

The Good

• 1973 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible White over blue leather - has older white vinyl roof and comes with a brand new navy blue canvas roof with glass rear screen that can be installed by any auto upholstery shop

• Always drove great with many new parts including - brakes, suspension and new AC Delco battery this year new tires last year

• Electric top works

• Will need some cosmetic work / tlc - no rot or cancer

• California car with Blue and Yellow Period correct vanity plates - FAT CADY - currently on Non Op so no back fees - Clean title in hand

• Retro Radio with Bluetooth and Alarm

• Tinted windows

• Owners and Workshop Manuals inc AC and Transmission - Receipts / notes of work completed last 12 or so years

• 2 sets of Keys - some spare parts

• Increasingly hard to find - perfect to restore further while still driving - turned heads every where it went especially with the FAT CADY vintage plates

Needs Attention

• A few months ago - the transmission started having heavy / late shifts in all gears - checked vacuum lines and replaced modulator and still does it, looks like the original transmission with no evidence of a prior rebuild. Car does drive and move and pretty sure it needs a rebuild. TH425 - Est - $1800 - $2500?

• Drivers door panel disentergrated with age - I have some parts to rebuild it - or used ones are around $350 to $500 on eBay etc

• Paint is good for 15 years old - please check out pictures and I can send more or do a video walkabout

• AC was blowing cold a few years ago not now - has all original parts - has 1 hose missing

No hurry to sell and want to rather than need to, so will entertain realistic offers and ignore lowball offers. This is a perfect car to drive will fixing up and being a California car there is no rot or cancer to deal with. As I type we are expecting 4 days of rain here and as soon as that clears next week I will take lots more photos and videos - Any inspection welcome and can work with your shipper if out of State. Not looking for a trade and payment is Wire Transfer / Zelle / Cash - Can accept a Cashiers check though they can take 10 business days to leave.
