1972 Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia

AMAZING FULL DRIVER RESTORATION, FIRES RIGHT UP AND DRIVES GREAT! This is an incredible little car with so much character and the reliability to go with it. She has been gone through from front to back and is ready to hit the road. Im excited to see where this Ghia goes, she deserves a good home where she will be as loved as she was by the previous owners and myself. Cosmetic

Paint/Body: What a classic look this car has with my favorite Ghia color, Irish Green. The paint and body are in good driver quality condition. The paint is less than a year old and looks really sharp from about 20 feet away, I might would even give her a solid 10 footer. The paint is nice but looks like maybe some air got in the gun when spraying, there is some pitting consistent all around. We do have a little bit of touch up paint that will go with her. The original bummers have been replaced with T bummers but will come with the car. They are in good condition and would clean up fairly well.
Interior: The interior is sharp. New upholstery, door panels, headliner, carpet kit and heavy duty rubber floor mats. Dash is uncut with no cracks. Boss head unit tastefully replaced the original radio.
Glass/Windows: All the glass is new, no cracks or chips. All new weather stripping. Windows roll up and down with ease. We also have the rubber and chrome pieces that originally came around the windshield and back window that will come with the vehicle.
Trunk/Bed: Trunk is very clean. Custom carpet cut to fit over the original gas tank. The spare tire is present which belongs with the set of original wheels that come with the car. Originally the wiper fluid reservoir is pressurized by the spare tire, all of that system is there and hooked up but has no been tested.
Undercarriage: The underneath of this car is gorgeous. New floor panels are super clean. The original frame is rust free. She was gone through front to back and has no rust in her.
Wheels/Tires: New matching tires on imported Brazilian VW wheels. She does come with the original wheels and dog dish VW hub caps.

Mechanical

Drivetrain: She has a completely rebuilt 1776 cc engine that fires right up and drives great! Updated coil, electronic ignition and electric choke. She has the stock untake with a 34 PICT 3 carb. Brand new upgraded oil pump with added oil filter. The manual 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. Upgraded exhaust system gives her a great sound to back such a reliable engine with plenty of power! If you're more into the original sounds, not to worry, she comes with a new original style exhaust as well.
Lights/Electrical: All new wiring harness. Headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals are all functional. All the gauges are hooked up and working. Additional oil temp, oil pressure and voltage gauge tastefully placed near the driver kick panel. Wipers, horn and radio all working. Heater is hooked up and functional as well.
Brakes: The brakes were just redone with disc on the front. The stop straight and strong. Emergency brake works great.
