1972 Volkswagen Beetle

For 65 years VW basically built the beetle in what I would refer to as a One Design configuration. Yes, there were some cosmetic changes throughout the many years but the classic look remained the same. Its hard to mention anything about the beetle that people dont already know. It is the most recognized vehicle on the planet even though they stopped making this configuration almost twenty years ago, which seems strange.

This is a Super Beetle, which was a little bigger than a standard and allowed for some more interior and luggage room. I am assuming based on the condition of the car that the mileage has rolled once. The cosmetic condition of the car is ok. It has some dings, dents and paint issues with some rust repair throughout but mechanically it seems to be great. Although the underside is dirty, appears to not really leave any oil on the ground and does not smoke at start up. Based on the engine dress up kit, I am going to guess it has been gone through at some point. All the lights work including the wipers, the top is in nice condition as well. The tires and brakes seem fine and is a fun car to drive. This was used as a summertime fun car here in Northern Michigan and then put away in the winter.
