Classic Car Overview

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to digitally present this ONE OWNER 1972 Pontiac Lemans Sport Convertible. This is a very special car our Tampa Showroom is proud to have with us. First only 3438 Lemans Sport convertibles were made in 1972 and you could not get a GTO convertible. Recently we met with the owners of the car who informed us of how they special ordered the car and anxiously waited for its arrival. Heres a thought of the the 3400 or so LSCs made in 1972 how many were ordered with the 400ci engine? How many are still road worthy? That has to be a very small number. We have on file a folder of receipts the original bill of sale/invoice a copy of the original title and the original window sticker. The MSRP in 72 was over $4400! The owner also received a letter of appreciation from Pontiac in 1991. In 2008 the car received a full restoration -pictures of the process come with the car upon sale. The owners state since the restoration was completed only an estimated 10k miles have been put on the car. She has a few paint blemishes that could easily be touched up but shes still in beautiful shape and runs like a dream. The owner is a veteran who states he is using the proceeds of the sale to help other veterans in Florida. (Gateway is not involved with this just making you aware). When will you have the opportunity to purchase a legit one owner highly collectible Pontiac with solid documentation again? At this price...probably never. This one is going to get A LOT of attention.
