Classic Car Overview

This Model J boat tail Restomod retains its classic stock appearance but in 2016 with 34k original miles the drivetrain was professionally upgraded. The original 400 V8 & TH400 3-spd AT were replaced with a 6.0 LS2 & 4L65E 4-spd OD AT from a '05 GTO with the addition of a K&N intake, headers, electric operated cut-outs, dual exhausts & 3.25 ratio Ford 9" rear end resulting in a dyno-tested 386 hp & 384 lb-ft. of torque to the rear wheels. The upgrade also included aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans, Vintage Aire A/C, 4-wheel disc brakes w/new lines, and 17" Foose wheels w/BFG G Force Z-rated tires. The 2016 repaint in black was finished with a clear ceramic final coat. The front seats were reupholstered in original pattern and driver's seat moved back 2" to accommodate taller drivers. A Bluetooth AM/FM radio with mic was installed for hands-free cell phone use. Now showing 43k miles the original build sheet, PHS documents, 1972 sales brochure, build receipts and a framed photo collage of the completed build are included.

Drive a 70's classic with the reliability and fuel economy of a modern era high-performance EFI engine and heavy-duty overdrive transmission combined with improved safety of disc brakes all around.
