Finished in its factory color EV2 Tor Red, this Road Runner retains the dramatic fuselage body styling introduced the year before, giving it a sleek, aerodynamic shape with flowing body lines, a long hood, and a broad, muscular stance. Minor styling updates for 1972 included a revised grille, updated taillights, and new side marker lights, helping distinguish it from the 1971 model. Turning to the black vinyl interior, this Road Runner remains true to its roots with a sporty, driver-focused cabin. High-back bucket seats, rally gauges, a pistol-grip shifter, and simple but purposeful trim create an interior built more for performance than luxury. Under the hood was originally a 400 ci V8, but it has since been fitted with an earlier 383 ci V8 paired to a 4-speed manual transmission.
