Classic Car Overview

Here, we have a 1972 Plymouth Road Runner for sale. This car has undergone a comprehensive rotisserie restoration with over $140,000 in receipts. It pairs the matching numbers driveline with a stunning restoration upgraded to give you modern performance. The body on it was meticulously prepped and fitted during the restoration. It resulted in one of the straightest and best fitting Mopars we have ever had the pleasure of owning. Its showcased in the factory optioned Lemon Twist Paint Scheme that was redone in base coat clear coat. The paint is buffed and polished out to stunning finish thats slick as ribbon. The Lemon Twist yellow is accented by the Black Transverse stripes and Black Spolier that are both factory options for it. This is a factory 340 car that is equipped with the correct hood and comes with dual mirrors. Both front and rear bumpers have a brilliant finish and excellent fit. All the glass is phenomenal and new seals and weather stripping were installed at the time of the restoration. To finish off the stance its sitting on a set of custom built Billet Specialty wheels with 18 on the front and 20 on the rear, and it has a new set of Toyo tires. Next, we will look at the interior of this 72. On the inside, its done in the classic black, which is also the factory option for it. Everything looks to have been redone at the time of the restoration. With new door panels, headliner, and carpet. Both the front and rear bench seats were redone and all the springs and padding are excellent. Looking at the dash, we can see it has been upgraded with a custom set of gauges and tach that keeps a better eye on your performance. It also has the Holley Sniper Fuel Injection controls mounted here as well. We can see that it comes with the custom steering wheel and has been upgraded with Vintage Air Conditioning and Heat. This is a factory four-speed car that features the Pistol Grip Shifter. Inside the trunk is all equally nice and detailed with the carpet, spare, battery relocation, and kill switch. Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Plymouth. Under the hood, we can see that everything has the same eye for detail, which is evident in the rest of the car. The hood, inner fenders, and firewall are all rock solid and just as slick as the exterior of the car. This Mopar is powered by its matching numbers 340 V8 Engine thats set up with the Holley Sniper Fuel Injection. Its dressed out with a custom dual snorkel air cleaner, Mopar Performance finned valve covers, and an all polished serpentine belt system. Along with having the upgraded vintage AC and heat, it also comes with Power Steering and Power Brakes the feature disc on all four corners. To keep it cool, it has been upgraded with an Aluminum Radiator and dual electric fans. The power runs through the Matching Numbers Four Speed Trans and original Sure Grip rear with 3.23 gears.
