Classic Car Overview
72 Plymouth Barracuda Resto-mod
This 72 Barracuda is a genuine EV2 Tor Red (Hemi orange) car. Comes with the original build sheet. It was originally a Texas car until I purchased it about a year ago. The body is extremely solid with almost no rust and that’s extremely rare!
It has been modified with a 440 CID engine and a 727 Torqueflite transmission. It also has a Chrysler 8 ¾” rear differential to handle the power. The 440 has been professionally built and balanced by a noted engineering company and is an extremely smooth and good running big block.
The Qa1 K-frame and new suspension components, as well as the new Borgeson steering system, make it a pleasure to drive and the handling is much like newer cars.
The original white interior has been replaced with OEM parts and is attractive and comfortable. Many new and refurbished components such as the, heater box, instrument cluster, steering column and more, make this a reliable and fun car to drive and show.
Below I have listed many of the parts and systems that have gone into completing this build. The object of this build was to keep it as original looking as possible while upgrading the systems that make it more reliable and fun to drive regularly. Please take a moment to look at the list and let me know if you have any questions.
All inspections welcomed.
Thanks for looking!
