Classic Car Overview

1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme The Oldsmobile Cutlass was once the companys top intermediate vehicle, but by 1972 it was the introductory model. Two body styles were available, including a sedan and a coupe. Standard equipment included front and rear armrests, full carpeting, fiberglass hood insulation, special molding package, Deluxe steering wheel, and rear armrest ashtrays. The interior was either cloth or vinyl. Pricing for the coupe began at $2,975 while the Town Sedan sold for $3,065. The Cutlass Supreme was the companys top intermediate vehicle. Body styles included a 2- and 4-door Holiday Hardtop, and a convertible. This was the final year for the Cutlass convertible. Standard equipment included all the features found in the Cutlass and Cutlass S, plus a higher output 350 cubic-inch engine, a special die-cast grille, wood-grain dash treatment and strato bucket seats. The two-door Holiday Hardtop sold for $3,260 with 105,087 examples produced. Just 11,571 examples of the convertible were produced. Offered for sale is a beautifully restored 1972 Cutlass Supreme. With just 55,613 original miles, this 350 cu in Olds will knock your socks off with the attention to detail addressed in the restoration. The bright red paint is accented with black vinyl top and black vinyl interior. The Cutlass sports bucket seats and floor mounted 3-speed automatic transmission. The options include a/c, remote mirrors, white wall tires, and AM Radio The chrome and bright work is like new as are the painted to match rally wheels. Included with the car is a book full of documentation to the car including build sheet, copy of original title, original window sticker, protect-o-plate, all books, and all records and receipts related to the restoration of the car. Also documented is an ownership trail from new. You will not find a nicer 1972 Cutlass anywhere. It is as if you walked into an Oldsmobile showroom in 1972 and saw this Cutlass Supreme on the floor.
