Classic Car Overview
V Fine Motorcars is proud to offer this clean and well-cared-for example of the iconic Mercedes-Benz 350SL roadster. Finished in Signal red over a black leather interior with a black soft top, this 350SL is a mostly original driver that has clearly been loved and maintained over the years. The car has spent its life in Nevada and Texas and has remained garage kept, resulting in a dry undercarriage and great overall condition. With extensive service records and thoughtful maintenance, this classic SL is ready to be enjoyed.
Powered by its original 3.5-liter V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission, the car delivers the smooth and refined driving experience Mercedes-Benz was known for in the early 1970s. The engine bay remains largely OEM in appearance aside from normal maintenance components, and the car has benefited from a long list of mechanical servicing including a transmission rebuild and multiple preventative upgrades over the past several years.
The repaint completed in 2024 still shows very well with only minimal imperfections. Chrome trim, glass, and exterior brightwork are all in great condition, and the black convertible top operates smoothly with no rips or tears. The interior is tidy with clean leather seating surfaces, a well-preserved dashboard, and walnut trim, with only minor discoloration noted in the carpet. The undercarriage is dry and solid with no major rust present, showing only minor weathering beneath the driver-side area.
