Classic Car Overview
This 1972 Ford Bronco was the subject of an approximately 18-month custom build by Sanders Customs in Enumclaw, Washington, combining classic Early Bronco styling with a modern Kincer Adventure chassis, Gen III Ford Coyote power, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and an Atlas twin-stick transfer case.
The body was reportedly a particularly solid starting point that required relatively little rust repair before being sandblasted, epoxy sealed, and refinished in Sunset Orange Metallic with an off-white top. Considerable attention was paid to panel alignment, body fit, and overall finish throughout the build, with consistent gaps and tight spacing evident around the doors, hood, fenders, and removable top.

Rather than beginning with a heavily corroded shell, the Bronco reportedly required minimal rust repair prior to restoration. The body was stripped by sandblasting before being epoxy sealed and prepared for paint.
It was then finished in Sunset Orange Metallic, contrasted by an off-white removable hardtop for a period-inspired appearance.
Particular attention was given to an area that often separates a high-level Bronco build from a typical restoration: body fitment. The doors, hood, fenders, quarters, and top were fitted with tight, uniform gaps and consistent spacing. The rigid Kincer chassis provides a stable foundation for the body and helps maintain the alignment and structural feel intended during the build.
The result retains the unmistakable proportions of an Early Bronco without relying on oversized modern wheels. Period-style dog-dish hubcaps paired with 35-inch tires give the truck a purposeful stance while maintaining a vintage aesthetic.
CHASSIS & SUSPENSIONUnderneath is a Kincer Adventure chassis, replacing the original frame with a modern engineered foundation designed specifically for high-end Early Bronco builds.
The chassis incorporates a full-link solid-axle suspension with Fox coilovers, providing substantially more sophisticated suspension geometry than the factory setup while retaining the solid-axle architecture associated with the original Bronco.
The underside was finished with the same attention given to the visible portions of the truck, including a Rhino-lined undercarriage, neatly routed plumbing, stainless exhaust, and Kincer fuel system.
COYOTE POWERPower comes from a Gen III Ford 5.0-liter Coyote V8 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Rather than simply fitting a modern engine into the engine bay, the installation was designed around a clean, functional layout. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator with brushless electric fans, while custom clamps and carefully routed lines minimize visual clutter.
The engine compartment presents with the type of organization associated with a high-end custom build, while remaining fully functional and serviceable.
A stainless-steel exhaust system completes the drivetrain installation.
ATLAS TRANSFER CASEFour-wheel-drive capability is provided by an Atlas transfer case operated through a twin-stick shifter, giving the driver independent control of the transfer-case functions while maintaining the mechanical character expected from a purpose-built Bronco.
BRAKES, COMFORT & DETAILSA Hydroboost power-brake system provides modern braking assist, while Vintage Air air conditioning makes the truck considerably more usable in warmer weather.
Additional equipment includes:
Dakota Digital gauges
Retractable power steps
Three-point seatbelts
Sound-deadening material beneath the interior
Custom roll bar
Windshield-frame reinforcement
Bronco-logo gussets
Hood-assist strut
The custom roll-bar assembly is tied into the windshield frame to increase rigidity rather than functioning solely as a cosmetic addition.
A HIGH-LEVEL EARLY BRONCO BUILDWhat distinguishes this Bronco is not simply the list of components. The Kincer chassis, Coyote drivetrain, Atlas transfer case, Fox suspension, Hydroboost brakes, and Vintage Air provide the hardware expected in a serious modernized Bronco, but the execution of the build is equally important.
From the consistent panel gaps and body alignment to the line routing, hardware placement, underhood presentation, chassis finishing, and restrained period-style exterior details, the truck was constructed as a complete package rather than a collection of aftermarket parts.
The approximately 18-month build presents as a highly detailed interpretation of the classic 1972 Bronco, combining vintage styling with modern performance, comfort, and chassis engineering.
