The Dodge Li'l Red Express set a standard on how to make a great performance truck. All Dodge Li'l Red Express trucks came from the factory painted in Bright Canyon Red in 1978 and Medium Canyon Red in 1979. Every Li'l Red Express was a regular cab Adventurer with a stepside bed.
Classic vintage Chevrolet pickup trucks are receiving growing interest among car enthusiasts. The most collectible muscle cars are numbers-matching survivors; the most sought-after vintage trucks are full custom builds.
Classic Car Overview
1972 Ford Bronco Sport is currently a daily driver. This Bronco has had a recent cosmetic restoration, but it was not a ‘frame-off’ restoration. It has a clean stock 302 engine that runs smooth, the speedometer now has 165,000 miles on the original engine, which runs very well. The exhaust system sounds like a stock Bronco exhaust should sound. It has a rebuilt C-4 three-speed automatic transmission with a Dana 20 transfer case, plus rebuilt drive shafts.
It has a newer polished aluminum tilt steering column, with a black/chrome steering wheel. It has a Dana 44 front axle with disc brakes and power brakes, with a Wilwood proportioning valve and new brake lines between the booster system and the proportioning valve. In the back, it has a Ford 9 inch rear axle with 3.50 gearing, with factory drum brakes in the back. It’s got factory power steering and the steering linkages are fairly tight, the suspension bushings have been replaced.
It has 2 1/2 inch variable rate front coil springs in front along with 2″ lift blocks in the back. All 4 shocks have been replaced with new ones. It has a newer 15 x 7 inch polished US Mag wheels with new BFG All-Terrain tires. The frame has been nicely painted, along with the suspension, axles, and undercarriage. It has a clean Silver metallic two-stage paint job with a black hardtop. The floor pans have been patched on both sides, and the patchwork was done nicely and looks solid.
It’s got newer black carpeting and a new black stock pleated vinyl interior. It has a clean factory dashboard and dash pad, with a stock AM radio mounted in the dash. It has a black locking center console with a digital stereo inside (you can plug your phone into this radio) with a very loud and clean-sounding set of mid-range speakers and high-range speakers in the custom fabricated pleated vinyl door panels, plus a sub woofer console in back (behind the rear seat). It also has a recently installed push button power window system.
The door panels provide a small amount of storage space (like a newer truck would have) for a phone or a wallet. The door glass and wing windows are in really nice shape. The wing windows are original Ranger wing windows with good rubber, they stay open and don’t flap like they would if they were worn out. The door latches are in good shape.
We just performed a complete inspection, it has a few leaks but other than that it's in really good shape. This Bronco would make a nice daily driver the way it’s set up right now.
