DetailsThis custom 1972 De Tomaso Pantera is powered by a Built Ford Racing Cleveland 351ci 8-cylinder engine featuring a Comp cam, roller rockers, competition valve assembly, TRW pistons and Edelbrock Torker manifold. Fuel injection, an electric fuel pump, a Fluidyne aluminum radiator with programmable electric fans and a FlowKooler Hi-Flow water pump ensure optimized performance. Additional components include a ceramic-coated oil pan, De Tomaso valve covers, a new timing chain and gear, and MSD electronic ignition. The engine bay features hidden wiring routed through the frame, a brushed stainless triple-insulated firewall, stainless coolant pipes, and a refurbished fuel tank with an electric pump and custom shield. The engine pairs with a ZF 5-speed manual transmission. Cooling and fuel management are enhanced with stainless-steel coolant pipes, green-stripe hoses, fuel and coolant shut-off valves, a CNC clutch reservoir and a new heater core. The exhaust system includes a custom 180-degree silver ceramic setup with a tailored outlet. Stopping power comes from Girling 4-wheel disc brakes with Porterfield pads, a GM master cylinder, a Wilwood proportioning valve and steel-braided brake lines. The chassis has neoprene body mounts and stainless wheel arch supports.The Pantera rides on Budnik wheels, 20-inch front and 22-inch rear, wrapped in Nitto tires. Exterior updates include new door handles, undercoating, weatherstripping, Vitaloni mirrors, an air dam, LED sequential taillights, and closed and painted original exhaust openings. The custom interior, crafted by Armandos Upholstery in Riverside, CA, features leather bucket seats modified for a perfect fit, revamped door panels with bespoke handles, a redesigned dash and console, and updated gauges. The setup includes a double-DIN touchscreen radio, speakers, an 8-inch subwoofer and a 1,000-watt Audison amplifier. LED accents enhance the refined interior design. The frunk and engine bay include custom luggage-style compartments, extending the cohesive theme.
