These vintage El Caminos seem to be gaining in popularity and value! This true Super Sport has the L48 small block option built locally in Van Nuys California and owned by the previous owner for 35 years, it even still wears its original Blue California license plates. Finished in Antique White with Black stripes on a cowl induction hood per the trim tag with options including nice Chrome and stainless trim, dual Chrome mirrors, vintage polished 15 inch Staggered Weld Prostar wheels wrapped in new Cooper Cobra raised white letter radials for that Muscle car look. Under the hood sits an upgraded Performance built 350 V8 with 4 bolt main, bored 30 over with pop up pistons, roller rockers, performance cam, high capacity oil pan, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Chevrolet aluminum valve covers, Holley dual feed carburetor, HEI ignition, factory power steering, power disc brakes and Hooker Competition headers followed by dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers for a little rumble. Front and rear sway bars help out with the corners and power gets put to the road through a rebuilt Turbo 350 3 speed automatic transmission ending with a 12 Bolt rear differential with 2.73 Posi-Traction for some freeway flying! The interior is basic and stock in appearance with a a fresh upholstered Black vinyl bench seat, 3 point seat belts, new carpeting, factory tilt steering column, factory SS gauges with original tachometer, upgraded old school AM/FM cassette player, custom Grant 3 spoke leather wrapped steering wheel and a couple of added under dash gauges for accurate vitals. A fun Classic hauler for the weekends!
