Classic Car Overview
Classic Car Addict is excited to present this one of a kind 1972 Chevrolet Corvette for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The C3 Chevrolet Corvette is a polarizing entry into the classic sports car pantheon. Its extended 1968 1982 production run saw it sail through the end of the golden age of muscle cars. The 1972 Chevrolet Corvette is virtually indistinguishable from the previous year and only the horsepower ratings changed. It is notable, however, as the last year of the classic Corvette C3 design with chrome bumpers at both ends. The year 1973 would see a urethane nose, and 1974 would see the car rubberized on both ends, with the Kamm tail lost. The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in Saddle leather (421) that extends to the center console and door panels. Additional options include power windows, factory A/C, and a factory Corvette AM/FM/Cassette player. The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilting and telescoping column and frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer. A working analog clock along with auxiliary gauges for fuel level, water temperature, oil pressure, and battery are mounted in the center stack. It also features three-point harness seatbelts. The Corvette from factory came in War Bonnet Yellow Poly (989). Consignor states that a special paint job and Kelsey-Hayes rims were placed by dealership before they purchased. It has paint matched removable roof panels, pop-up headlights, twin front grilles, fender vents, quadruple taillights, and dual exhaust outlets. The 15 Kelsey-Hayes wheels ($10K) are mounted with Goodyear Eagle ST tires, P225/70R15s all the way around. The 350ci V8 was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 300 lb.-ft of torque and features a chrome air cleaner lid. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a positraction limited slip differential. The casting number from the block is V0410CKX (TH400 three-speed auto, 4-barrel carb, 200hp). Consignor states that they did add a reverse warning beep to the vehicle. This 1972 Corvette will be sold on a clean Arizona title. Give Classic Car Addict a call with any questions, 480-256-1459.
