Mechanically, this 2.2-liter engine runs phenomenal with plenty of horsepower, smooth shifting manual 901-dogleg 5-speed transmission and four-wheel disc brakes. History In September of 1969 Porsche delivered the new 2.2-liter C-Series Model 911 for the 1970 model year & the D-Series for 1971.
