Fully Restored w/ Excellent Street Performance
This 1971 Pontiac GTO 2 Door Convertible was originally sold in Mississippi and it has been enjoyed by what we believe to be three different owners across its lifetime. While we do not have a lot of documentation on file, we do know that the current owner installed a full Hotchkis Suspension including shocks. The upgraded suspension aids in this GTO driving like a much newer car and adds to its awesome looking stance. This beautiful muscle car has been restored at least once during its lifetime about five years ago and the ride quality is simply spectacular. It has excellent acceleration, impressive handling and very solid stopping power, making this the most complete example we’ve seen in quite some time.
Additionally, the interior of this 1971 Pontiac GTO Roadster could almost pass for new with world-class factory seating, carpeting and the wood-grain dashboard. All the gauges appear to be factory including the desirable hood tachometer, the factory radio and all the correct trim pieces. Combined with the sensational body lines, show quality paint and gleaming chrome work, this outstanding muscle car is extremely impressive and really stands out from similar models.
One of the Nicest You’ll Find Anywhere at this Price
Overall, this outstanding 1971 Pontiac GTO Convertible is in true investment grade condition and the overall ride quality is easily the best we’ve seen in this model in quite some time. This rare, breathtaking muscle car should find a new home quickly since it has years of enjoyment ahead of it.
