Classic Car Overview

If your not viewing this vehicle on our website. Please view the 190 plus photos & 4k video on our website at cherokeeautogroup.com Type in search 1971 CUDA in search tab! This is a very special 3 owner survivor condtion real deal Cuda! We have extensive documentation since new. Miles are exempt for age but are believed to be correct @79k. This is not some made over re-bodyed Cuda made from 10 cars! It truly is a remakable numbers matching original show quality car! This car was sold new to Harry & Dale Steinberg at R & A IMS Inc in Paw Paw Michigan on 04-02-1971! This beauty is in highly original condition with the exception of one repaint in 2014 in its original FC7 In Violet paint. The paint is show quality and still shows better than original and is virtually flawless! FYI the cost was just over 20k in 2014, We also believe this is a all original sheet metal car! Nice white billboards and a Go-Wing spoiler added. Moreover, this car is powered by its original matching-numbers 340 CI 4bbl V-8 engine, which many considered to be the optimal powerplant in these for well-balanced handling. This small-block is nicely detailed and hosts the black air cleaner with orange displacement-number pie pan, electronic ignition, and a restoration battery. The matching numbers TorqueFlite automatic transmission still backs this mill up, and has the coded A36 Performance Axle Package means a 3.55-geared Sure Grip-equipped 8.75 differential. This car also came with fast-ratio power steering. The desirable FC7 purple tone was a Hi-Impact color, part of a marketing effort that Chrysler used for added showroom and curbside appeal. The large billboard decals were a one-year option and today add visual excitement to any 1971 Cuda. The interior of this car still shows excellent the high-back front bucket seats sit nice and comfy, The interior looks very original and shows fantastic and un-restored. This car runs and drives very strong and smooth! Undercarrage and exhaust look correct and show excellent! Super nice tidy correct trunk with correct spare, jack and mat! The A62 Rallye dash cluster with tach and clock, and the center console with T-handle SlapStik shifter and wood-grain applique. Trim on the exterior of this car includes the twin scoop hood with hood pins and Cuda 340 callout tags, valance exit exhaust tips, slat-design tail lamps, and wheel well trim. This car rides on factory Rallye wheels and a nice set of Goodyear Polyglas F70-14 tires. Finally, provenance includes Original title, 2nd owners title and current 3rd owners title, 2 original broadcast sheet, fender tag, the original window sticker, original set of keys with key codes, original dealer key tag, Zebart receipt and consumer information sheet & more. There were bigger engines being offered in 1971, but only the 340 survived into 1972, perhaps because it was a great choice. It lives on today in this beautiful example of what many consider to be the wildest version of the Cuda. So many of these cars were rusted, rotted, abused and then blown apart to restore. This car shows like a very very well cared for survivor with some re-fresh and fees like your back in the earley 70s at a Plymouth dealership buyng a couple year old Cuda! as you may know 1971 Cudas are the pinnical of any mopar collectors stable! This car belongs in any Mopar collection it is that kind! The new owner should love this car its ready to drive & enjoy now! It needs no restoration just look after it and drive it as the values keep climbing!
