This 1971 Jeep CJ5 Renegade is registered and street legal. Starts easily, smooth idle after warming up and never overheats. Features 2 fuel tanks installed with original purchase in 1971. A classic that runs great anywhere you want to go. There are no major mechanical issues I am aware of. Purchased from original owner in 1984. Tires in great shape. Exterior paint is original and shows 55 years of service. Roll bar and tire mount powder coated black. Original seats re-upholstered. Mostly original except for a few minor parts. Replaced leaf springs, Replaced rear fuel tank. Rebuilt transmission, transfer case, front and rear differentials. Replaced oil pan gasket recently. We take it out every year and people are always amazed how this jeep climbs and descends any hill.
Also comes with back seat, Hi-Lift Jack, bottle-Jack, bikini top, NIB Replicate of original Instrument Cluster, NIB LED Headlights, NIB Side-Steps. Easy to trailer or flat tow. Leaf springs replaced.
