Classic Car Overview

Fully Restored 1971 GMC Jimmy, 4x4 Base Model with tasteful period specific upgrades for improved safety and drivability.

The vehicle drives well and is reliable for your next show or parade. It has been garage kept since restoration in 2013.

Vehicle is originally from Arizona, bought and transported to Seattle, purchased by me in 2013 and restored to current condition, transported to current home in 2015 for the last 9 years in central Texas where it has been maintained as a show/parade vehicle. You cannot go anywhere in this vehicle without getting stopped!

Overall between good and excellent condition. Certainly capable of winning a local show. The vehicle is actually reliable enough to be a daily driver, but likely too pretty for that ;)

Engine
350 V8 rebuilt with Edelbrock Carburetor, K&N Air Filter, New Pertronix Distributor, New MSD StreetFire Coil, New Plugs and Wires. Flowmaster 40 exhaust, sounds great!

Drivetrain
Functional 4 Wheel Drive with Hi/Lo transfer case and wheel lockers with a manual 3 on the tree transmission.
2.5 Rough Country Suspension Lift with 33 Toyo Open Country Tires (5k miles) on 15 Black Rally Wheels. (These tires will fit the stock wheel if stock steel wheel look is desired.)

The floor board has been stripped clean, refurbished (no rust) and coated with Linex for a very clean look that can get caught in the rain without fear.

Brake system has been overhauled and rebuilt. New master cylinder.

Original period specific Hickey Roll Bar with back seat add-on to facilitate modern over the shoulder seat belts. (Original seat belts still with vehicle, not installed.)

Double Wall White Top in original condition.

Vintage Air A/C system installed.

RetroSound Original Look Audio Head Unit installed with bluetooth, 10 Infinity Subwoofer with 6.5 Infinity speakers for audio. Sounds great with the top off.

Upgraded 100 amp Alternator.
All lights, switches, wipers, etc... all functional except sender on gas tank.

Paint and exterior
Exterior repainted original color with clear coat, dash left original for comparison.

Minor dents & scratches almost imperceptible to the casual passerby.
Stable front lower door corner rust under paint not identified at time of painting unfortunately that has surfaced in the form of a bubble under the paint. This showed not long after painting in 2014 and has not changed since then. (See pictures)

Upholstery and interior
Original Medium Bronze Paint (Lets be real, it is Burnt Orange, likely to commemorate the 1969 and 1970 national titles in football ;), Parchment Interior Paint on doors and seat backs.

Seats Restored with Marine Vinyl. The dash has an original look which is very tasteful and clean.

The white double wall top is easy to take on and off.

I have every receipt and extra part imaginable for the vehicle and would transfer with the sale.

Mileage
This is the original odometer, but I suspect it has rolled over.

Wheels and tires
2.5 Rough Country Suspension Lift with 33 Toyo Open Country Tires (5k miles) on 15 Black Rally Wheels. (These tires will fit the stock wheel if stock steel wheel look is desired.)

Brakes
New Master Cylinder. Original Disc/Drum Combo.

Transmission
Functional 4 Wheel Drive with Hi/Lo transfer case and wheel lockers with a manual 3 on the tree transmission.

Warranty
No
