Classic Car Overview
The body is in great shape without any rust or dents. It was also powder coated before being painted. Before the body was mounted on the frame, I had the frame stripped down and I coated both the inside & out side of it to prevent any rusting. The hood has functional louvers & urethane hood pins keep is closed. I then installed a 3.5 suspension lift with a 2 body lift. This makes room for the 35 x 12.5 tires. The power plant is a strong running 5.0 fuel injection engine that is kept cool with a Ron Davis aluminum radiator. The exhaust is vented through a set of ceramic coated shorty headers into dual exhaust. This is backed by a 6r80 transmission six speed with a twin stick Dana 20 transfer case that is fitted with a 13 spline output shaft. All this is monitored by a Dakota dash gauge cluster. The power then goes up front to a Dana 44 with chromoly axles that sport 4:56 gears and a Detroit locker. The rear axle is a big bearing ford 9 with 35 spline axels, 4:56 gears & ARB locker. All four corners have power disk brakes. The fuel for this comes from a 23 gallon rear mounted tank that is protected with a skid plate. The front bumper is a pre-runner bumper with a Mile Marker 9500 lb winch. The rear bumper is a impact series with swing away spare tire. This also has a baja style six-point roll cage. You then sit comfortably in the two pro car elite reclining seats that are separated by a lockable center console. You will be steering with a Lecarra 14 steering wheel and yes it is fitted with power steering. Two lite up your way you have LED main lights. To keep you out of the sun or rain this comes with both a best top soft top & a bikini top. Now if you hit the trails this also has been outfitted with rocker panel sliders.
