Classic Car Overview

This 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T for sale has several upgrades including a powerful Magnum 440 chrome dressed engine powerplant w/ a brand new Tremec T56 6-speed transmission. This car was originally sold at Barrett Jackson for their 35th anniversary in 2006 (https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1971-DODGE-CHALLENGER-R/T-COUPE-15465) with a four speed at the time.  Last spring we added a brand new T56 Magnum 6-speed to take advantage of the gearing.  Fuel cell added in the trunk w/ the battery box right next to it with a cut-off switch. This Challenger is equipped with a set of long tube headers with a dual exhaust that will definitely disturb the peace. The power assist options were not deleted to add HP. This 1971 Challenger R/T has all the power assist to help you drive this beast of a car w/ added ease including power steering, Wilwood power disk brakes all the way around. With nice meaty performance tire and custom chrome 5-spoke Coys wheels, this car has a flash that no one on the street can ignore. To add to that pizzazz is a nice Blue Metallic w/ black R/T stripes running alongside the body and a nice black vinyl top to go with the blue/black/chrome theme.

The interior is also a very nice wonderful black vinyl set up w/ two bucket seats and a nice bench seat in the rear. Dash panel has the nice wood trim intact and in great condition.  We recently had the gauge cluster pulled and sent to Auto Instruments in Virginia.  They re-screened the gauge cluster and calibrated and balanced every gauge.  They also modernized all gauges including the factory tic-toc dash (quartz movement) and adjusted the tach so it would accept the digital signal from the MSD Atomic ignition.  This car has an aftermarket radio to hook up to your smart tech music gadgets. Options include AM/FM/CD Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Custom Wheels, performance tires, and electric radiator fan.

We purchased the car a couple years ago from Gateway Classics in Ft. Lauderdale, and it's been an absolute blast. Their youtube video can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eze0KW3F62w

This is a great car, and it needs a great home.  We just have too many now and I need to consolidate my collection.
