Classic Car Overview
1971 Datsun 240Z. IMSA GTU widebody kit with front/rear quarter panels and G nose from Bob Sharp Racing via Tilton Engineering. Body was done with laid glass cloth and not chopper gunned. New factory hood with louvers added similar to Scarab Z cars. BBS three piece wheels from Bob Sharp Racing. 10x15 fronts, 15x15 rear wheel sizes. Included are rear inner wheel halves if for some reason, you wanted to narrow the rear wheels size to 13.5 wide. New Hoosier drag slicks with tread patterns cut to give it the appearance of a street legal tires. Chevrolet 327 cu in, 350 hp. Scarab engine conversion kit--motor mounts, bell housing, drive shaft, exhaust headers, mufflers, pipes clear to the rear, radiator, fan shroud, fan and differential support. TRW pistons, 11.5 to 1 compression ratio. Edelbrock Torker intake manifold. Holley 600 Double Pumper carburetor. Mallory Unilite with a Cross Fire distributor cap. Muncie M21 four speed transmission. Datsun R200 differential. Mulholland shocks, 1" front and 3/4 " rear sway bars. Delrin bushings, eccentric adjustors and lowering springs. New factory dash, Corbeau GT8 race seats, five point harness, four point roll cage, and racemark (Mark Donahue) steering wheel. Car was built in the late 70s. I purchased it in 2011. Both owners have keep it indoors and taken out periodically. New dad, need to part... nuff said.
