Chevrolet introduced the Chevelle in 1963 as a 1964 model. Though quite large by today's standards, it was classified as a midsize car. What wasn't midsize was the level of passion garnered from the very beginning, a passion that has continued for decades.

2010 Cobra Jet

Following in the tradition of previous Ford factory built Mustang race cars like the 1968 Cobra Jet, the Boss 429 and the FR500S Mustang Challenge car, Ford Racing and AAI started work on a production run of 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs in January 2010. Ford Racing built 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs at Ford vendor facilities.

1971 Chevelle SS with a full frame-off restoration, producing over 700 horsepower from a Big Block 454 with forged internals, Edelbrock heads, a solid roller cam, a 12-bolt rear end with 4.10 gears, and a built Turbo 400 transmission with a reverse valve body. It's equipped with Dakota Digital gauges, a chrome tilt column, custom leather and suede power seats, power windows and locks, climate control, a power convertible top, a power hydraulic trunk, 24-inch Forgiato wheels, and a full stereo system with a Pioneer large-screen head unit, eight 6.5-inch speakers, two 6x9s, four 10-inch Sundown subs, and two Sundown amps, supported by Hotchkis suspension. The car also has power Wilwood disc brakes with 6 piston calipers, power steering, and Brodix Big Brody heads.
