Finished in its correct beautiful Antique Green metallic Code 49 paint this 1971 Chevelle SS is powered by a decked NOM 454 V-8, Aluminum intake cast# 3933163(396/375hp or 427), edelbrock carb, HEI ignition, headers, and its teamed with a M20 aluminum Muncie 4-speed transmission and Hurst floor shifter. It also has the Optional 12 bolt 3:23 positraction rear end coded RV (71 LS5) , F41 spec perf suspension, and power front disc brakes. Inside, the Chevelle SS still features its stock black, bench-seat interior, full gauges dash with 7000 RPM tachometer. Contrary to popular belief, the Chevelle SS did not come standard with bucket seats, or console or power steering; all were optional equipment. The base seating was a cloth and vinyl upholstered bench seat, though all-vinyl was also available, like how this car is equipped. Other features include, an AM/FM Pioneer aftermarket radio with rear deck speakers. It also boasts the desirable ZL2 cowl induction hood and 5-spoke SS wheels, and radial white letter tires.
