1971 CHEVELLE SS 454.

A very nice example of what ANY Chevelle SS 454 2 door Sports Coupe, built in Oshawa should look like. This vehicle is equipped with a TURBO 400 Automatic Transmission, 12 Bolt rear differential with a 4:11 Posi-trac which has recently been serviced with Amsoil synthetic lubricants. The original engine was recently upgraded to LS6 450HP 454 Factory GM Crate engine with a Hi Perf Pass engine block which has the correct XAA Stamping used during limited production of the open chamber LS6 454 Crate engines. The engine sports a factory high-performance solid lifter camshaft, a factory correct aluminum high rise intake designed for the application, a chrome high flow air filter breather with the 450HP decal. The vehicle also has the factory high rise hood. This vehicle also has sway bars front and rear, SS door panels and SS454 emblems as came on the SS454 production vehicles.

The 454 Chevelle is one of the truly great American muscle cars and this one comes with a few very nice upgrades such as ceramic coated Hooker Competition Series exhaust headers with x-pipe and flow master mufflers, MSD electronic ignition system distributor and new 3310-1 Holley dual line carburetion.

A/C was not offered as an option on the 1971 454 Chevelle so had a very clean and professional add on A/C kit installed. It has a beautiful set of factory black spoke wheels with brand new 60 series TA Radials mounted on them. The vehicle has seen a nicely done older restoration. It has been garaged continuously and kept very clean. The black interior is nice with minimal wear. Underneath; the vehicle is free of any body, frame or structural repairs and one can see that the brake lines and the fuel tank are among the many things that have been replaced on this vehicle.

There are a number of original parts ...including the original exhaust manifolds and ignition distributor that are included in the sale along with an owner's manual and shop manuals.
