Classic Car Overview

This 1971 Chevrolet C10 is a premium CST pickup, and it celebrates that with plenty of custom touches inside and out. Plus, with a great color combination, serious big block power, and an A/C interior its the powerful and comfortable choice for a true weekend warrior. This truck really has the look of a lot of quality investments. The glossy medium blue metallic paint looks quite nice in the sunshine. Plus, the white roof has an extra hint of premium with its two-tone appearance. A bright front bumper, smoothie wheel, and straight full-length trim give this the look of an impressive vintage pickup. There are even cool detail upgrades like the crystal-clear headlights, bow tie marker lights, and blue-dot taillights. And we all know people will be talking about those Chevy bow tie exhaust tips for a while. But even with all these great style features, this is still a true pickup at its heart. Thats why theres a useful long bed beneath the hinged tonneau cover (of course, it shines like its working days are over.) Plus, the proper tow hitch and wide towing mirrors mean a trailer can do the real dirty work. The exterior blue returns inside on the metal pieces and now its joined by a well-done black for the seats, door panels, carpeting, and dash pad. It has a classic look, but there are also well-integrated handy upgrades. For example, the radio still has the classic knob-style appearance, but its an AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette. The air conditioning looks like the factory setup, but now its running on modern R134a refrigerant. So it blows cold today and will be easy to service and keep cold in the future. You have a grippy sports steering wheel, and its mounted on a tilt column. That gives you a clear view of the full gauge package with Bosch tach now mounted in the center. And the addition of cleanly mounted auxiliary readouts under the dash is another indication of something special under the hood even before you start this up and hear it roar. These pickups are great because a big block fits so nicely in the engine bay. Its a period-correct 402 cubic-inch V8 that has been upgraded for serious power. It now includes Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads, a Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, ProComp intake, and Hedman headers that feed a throaty X-pipe dual exhaust. The fundamentals like the belts, hoses, and wires show this has been given good care, and the way the big V8 fires up reaffirms this quality. The TH400 three-speed transmission is good for its stout construction and easy automatic shifting, and this feeds a proper 12-bolt rear end. So its not only powerful, but easy to drive, too. Thats why you also have power steering, power brakes, front discs, wide Cooper Cobra tires, and the C10 desirable trailing arm rear suspension. This is a powerful pickup thats also an attractive Sunday driver. So at this attractive price, you know this will be a deal thats moving fast. Call today!!!
