1971 Buick GS Stage 1 two-door hardtop. Equipped with a built 455 cubic inch V8 engine producing over 500 horsepower and approximately 560 lb-ft of torque, tuned well for impressive performance. TH400 Automatic paired up to the engine. Original factory equipment such as power steering, power brakes, and factory air conditioning (though some AC components are missing), combined with upgrades like a T/A Performance aluminum intake manifold, MSD ignition, headers, electric radiator fan, line lock for the brakes, and an aftermarket stereo system. The black paint has a glossy finish with a few imperfections, the body panels are mostly straight and well-maintained, although there are some signs of corrosion and touch-up paint. The black vinyl interior is well-preserved with intact bucket seats, horseshoe style automatic shifter on the center console, and GS floor mats. Functioning factory gauges, including a working oil pressure, temp gauge, and also has a shift light mounted to the column. The car rides on ultra aluminum wheels with BF Goodrich radial tires, and the suspension includes air shocks. The car has been owned long-term by a previous owner for around 20 years and has been driven. The transmission is an automatic TH400, with the original transmission possibly available upon inquiry. The car is ready to drive and enjoy, with strong throttle response. On the road the excellent throttle response, smooth shifting, and cornering stability are emphasized. The Buick maintains good handling through turns. The interior features a digital retro-style radio fitting well into the factory radio location, and woodgrain accents on the center console. Includes the original style GS cold air intake, install accessories for the rear air shocks, the original kick panels, header collectors, radiator fan, and another transmission.
