silver. The interior has blue carpet with black Recaro seats in the front and
original horsehair bench seats in the back. Mechanical freshening performed by
2002 specialists with service records from 2018. Custom designed touches all
around this car. Without question, the 2002 is considered the definitive small
sports sedan. BMW, 2002 is regarded as the vehicle that defined the company. This
is an original car, freshly-paint,
restoration highlights included:
A thorough, bare-metal paintjob – outside, reassembled with all new OEM parts, and
rubbers, correct seals, trim, lights, grilles, emblems, custom spoilers molded
to car (NOT BOLT ON), and emblems, with original tool kit. Rebuilt transmission, all new suspension, Bilstein
shocks, springs, Ricarro seat up front, wood Italian Nardi steer wheel, new
dash cap, custom front bumper and lower valance with LED driving lights flush
mounted into bumper. Front turn sign removed, rewired to front driving led
lights, New wheels and tires (less than 20 miles on them) complementing the period attire and
stance. New carpet kit installed throughout car, including truck, engine
head polished, engine cleaned, new heat barrier under hood. With just over 175,000 recorded on the
odometer. Fit and finish is impressive and custom details enhance the flow,
whether viewed from the exterior, cabin, undercarriage, engine bay or luggage
compartment. All lights, electronics are in proper working order. A vintage Blaupunkt
radio complements the interior (for looks only). I have a rare replica in the
box collectable (new old stock) model toy car that will be sold with the actual
