A 2.7L flat-six with a Porsche magnesium crankcase was installed in 2024, and it is paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The car is finished in Irish Green over beige leather, and equipment includes dual Weber carburetors, electronic ignition, a Dansk sport muffler, 14 Fuchs alloy wheels, Carrera-specification disc brakes, a removable Targa top, and an AM/FM radio. This 914-6 is now offered on dealer consignment with the owner?s manual, service records, and a clean Illinois title.The car is finished in Irish Green and was repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment in the late 2000s. Features include pop-up headlights, a black removable Targa top, dual side mirrors, a GT-style engine cover decklid, and polished bumper trim. XPEL paint protection film has been added to the hood, trunk lid, and front fenders.The 14 Fuchs alloy wheels were mounted with 195/70 Dunlop Sport Classic tires in December 2024. The trailing arms were modified to accommodate Carrera-specification four-wheel disc brakes with a 23mm master cylinder and a Tilton adjustable brake pressure regulator.The cabin features fixed-back bucket seats upholstered in beige leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Amenities include a heater, wind-up windows, an AM/FM radio, and three-point seatbelts.The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and a fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer was reset to zero at the time of the refurbishment and now shows 6k miles. The speedometer cable was replaced in 2025.The 2.7L flat-six was built by the selling dealer and installed in 2024. It utilizes a Porsche magnesium crankcase (part number 911.101.001.45) sourced from Porsche Classic and Euro RS-style Nikasil pistons and cylinders with an 8.5:1 compression ratio along with a chain tensioner update kit, dual Weber carburetors, a Dansk sport exahust, and 123ignition electronic ignition. Work in 2026 involved replacing the piston cooling oil spray nozzles, along with the bearings, flywheel bolts, and engine gaskets. Compression test and leakdown results are viewable in the gallery.Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
