The car features GT-style bodywork painted green with white stripes, a stripped interior with a roll cage and two race seats, safety equipment, and a MOMO steering wheel. It rides on 15 Fuchs-style wheels with adjustable suspension and upgraded four-wheel discs, and power comes from a Dawes-built 2.0L flat-six linked to with a five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. It was acquired by its current owner in 2021, and it is now offered on a bill of sale in Illinois on dealer consignment with service records.A previous owner used a 1970 914 four-cylinder chassis and transferred the VINs and mechanical components from a 914-6. It has been further modified with GT-style steel flares and fiberglass hoods before it was painted green with white stripes. In 2023 the front grille was fabricated.The suspension has reportedly been modified with Tangerine Racing reinforced swing arms, Avo adjustable rear coilovers, Bilstein front shock absorbers, and a Tarrett front sway bar, drop links, and spindles. 15 Fuchs-style wheels wear Hoosier slicks, and the four-wheel disc brakes were upgraded with PMB components, per the seller.A six-point roll cage, Sparco race seats, harnesses, and safety nets. A RennShift shifter has also been fitted along with a brake-bias adjustment behind the shifter.A MOMO steering wheel has been installed on a Rennline quick-release hub. Switchgear is mounted in the dashboard, and an electrical shutoff is provided to the left of the cluster. The speedometer drive unit was replaced in 2022.The 2.0-liter flat-six was reportedly built by Peter Dawes and is topped by PMO carburetors. In 2022 the valves, timing, and carburetors were adjusted, the valve covers were refinished, and engine tin was fabricated. The battery was replaced and the oil was changed in 2024. The owner reports the engine has 12 hours of use.The five-speed 901 manual transmission is claimed to have been built with race gears and a Quaife limited-slip differential, and it has a cooler. The headers are linked to a megaphone-style exhaust system.Records for approximately $25k worth of work in 2022 are detailed in the gallery.Serial number 9140430460 was transferred to this car. The car does not have a title and is sold on a bill of sale.
