Classic Car Overview
VIN: 9110120101
Engine: 3.2-liter
Transmission: 915
Completed August 1969
Built in August 1969 and delivered new to a California Porsche dealership in its original Burgundy (color code 2424), this 911 began life as a 911T and has remained a California car for most of its life. While early history is limited, documentation suggests long-term West Coast ownership before its transformation into a Carrara RS Touring tribute by Southern California-based specialists approximately 10 years ago. Although exact build invoices are unavailable, the conversion appears to have used many mechanical components sourced from a low-mileage 1988 Porsche 911 3.2-liter Carrera, resulting in a well-integrated, thoughtfully assembled RS-style driver.

In October of 2025, a local independent air-cooled Porsche specialist performed a service including: new horns, motor mounts, Interstate battery, the idle control valve was cleaned, the idle switch and cylinder head temperature sensor were tested, fuel air ratio was adjusted at idle, and a compression test was performed: 180, 175, 180, 190, 190, 190.
The paintwork is very presentable, with a deep shine, following over 20 hours of professional detailing, including paint correction, steam cleaning of the underside and engine bay, chip touch-ups, and ceramic coating application. The interior is in beautiful overall condition. Recently, a set of vintage Recaro seats with houndstooth inserts was upholstered and installed, complemented by lightweight carpeting and black CoCo mats. Staggered 15 x 7 & 8 Fuchs wheels are wrapped with new Pirelli P6000 - 195/65 R15 front, 215/60 R15 rear tires. The undercarriage is in excellent condition, solid, and rust-free.
Power is provided by a 3.2-liter flat six sourced from a 1988 911 Carrera and equipped with factory Motronic fuel injection, producing over 220hp. The engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission (Type 915) with a four-wheel disc braking system. This 911 feels like no other; it is exceptionally quick and lively, with a lightweight flywheel and short shift, and is comparable to a 2.7 MFI.
Recently, European Collectibles installed a new Porsche dash, a set of vintage Recaro seats with houndstooth inserts, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM Blue Dot radio with Bluetooth. The VDO instrumentation has been cleaned, detailed, and restored. A 380mm leather-wrapped steering wheel was installed, and the passenger window motor, clutch cable, spark plugs, and crank sensor were all replaced. An amazing early 911 to drive, and it is an understated car for what it is. Complete with Porsche Production Specification Sheet, collapsible spare wheel, air compressor, owners manual, and recent service records.
