Classic Car Overview

Beautifully restored 1970 911T in Tangerine with tan interior. The body restoration was completed in 2014 by European Performance Cary/ Auto body located in Durham, NC at a cost of $61,000. The work included disassembly of the entire car, all body and paint work, interior and reassembly. The engine received a top end rebuild along with new rings and sleeves at a cost of $24000 by well-known Porsche expert John Raysich located in Bridgeville, PA . The transmission has also been overhauled by Renn Works of Raleigh. The restoration has been documented with receipts and photos. Since then the car has seen approximately 4000 miles. It is numbers matching and comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Additions made during restoration include RS style door cards, Alpine stereo and a Momo steering wheel. In September 2018 the car was dyno tuned to improve power output and drivability. More recently it received a fluid service and a new starter. Since 2012 the last two owners have spent over $100000 on restoration and maintenance. More photos are available by request.

In 1970 the 911T came with a 2.2L, 2195cc engine that produces 125HP. Vented disc brakes and a pull-type clutch with an enlarged 225mm disc to cope with the added power were added in 1970. Zenith 40TIN carbs in place of Webers in the 1970Ts, which added an electric cutoff on the idle circuit to improve emissions.
