SECOND TIME AROUND! We just bought back this beautiful 1970 GTO CONVERTIBLE from the folks we sold it to back in 2013. They are local collectors who we have kept in-touch with throughout the years. (GOOD FOLKS) So when we got the phone call that it was time to thin out the herd we rushed over to see the cars and immediately struck a deal! This car is absolutely stunning and is in impeccable condition. It was meticulously maintained, pampered and stored in a climate-controlled garage, covered with a blanket and wrapped in a car cover and was only driven 3000 miles in 13 years. It also has recently undergone (2019) a professional restoration. This collector is very particular about his cars and this one is no exception! It is a Canadian built car and is documented by GM of Canada as well as Pontiac Historical Services. CHECK IT OUT!!
The body is super straight, super solid and super clean including the floors, trunk and frame and the new Viper Red base/clear paint is absolutely gorgeous with a deep luster and show car shine. We just buffed and polished it as well as added a 1-year ceramic coating to protect it. It also has a brand-new white convertible top and boot as well as a new top motor, hydraulic cylinders, lines and a new switch. it also has new chrome, trim and weather stripping too!
The black bucket seat with factory console interior is in like new condition including the seats, carpets, door panels and dash pad. It is absolutely stunning and everything works as it should. It is all VERY-VERY NICE!!
Powered by a 455c.i.-4bbl. V8 engine (N.O.M.) that we were told was rebuilt when we first bought the car in 2013. All we know for sure is that it runs extremely strong and sounds absolutely amazing. It is backed by a crisp shifting TH-400 automatic transmission and its original 10 bolt Safe-t-Track rear.
Other features include factory Hood Tach and In-Dash Gauges, Power Steering with a new Formula steering wheel, Power Disc Brakes (front only) Cold Vintage Air Conditioning, New Dual Exhaust with very rare factory option Driver Controlled Tiger Button Exhaust, Rally II wheels w/ B.F.G. tires, Bluetooth Stereo and much-much more!
