Classic Car Overview

1970 Plymouth Road Runner Coupe for sale! Motorcar Classics is proud to present this awesome 1970 Plymouth featured in (FY1) Lemon Twist Yellow with white vinyl top and interior. This is a genuine HEMI 426CI monster that is putting approximately 650HP through a heavy-duty Torqueflite automatic transmission with HEMI clutches and Sure Grip 4.10 rear end. It has adjustable shocks and 4-wheel Wilwood brakes. This Road Runner is extremely fast, capable of running in the 10s in the quarter mile, but yet can still be driven to a car show and have a good shot at taking home a trophy. This show-quality Road Runners credentials include a Silver Award at the 25th Florida Mopar Nationals. The car was the subject of a rotisserie restoration, during which it was fine-tuned and the HEMI upgraded by Mr. Mopar, Dave Dudek, from the F.A.S.T. series. Technical engine specs include a Mopar Performance early water block, 4.25 stroke, 4.325 bore (.075 over, resulting in 499CI), Aluminum Rods 7.100 long, .990 pin, 2.200 big end, Diam LSM custom cam, Crank scraper w/screen, Drain back oiling modifications, OEM heads fully CNCed by Modern Cylinder Head, All Good Stuff titanium retainers, PAC springs, and more. Fully ported and modified stock intake. 7/16 Trend pushrods. Jesel off-set solid roller lifters. Indy roller rocker set up, 55 mm roller cam bearings. The car has been well-sorted and maintained by an experienced enthusiast of American muscle cars, and it represents an outstanding opportunity for a MoPar fan.
