This car is being sold by the third owner, who has owned this car for over 45 years. This is an all original numbers matching North Carolina car. Current odometer reading is 38,200, actually 138,200. Original warranty information, Protect-O-Plate, build sheet, maintenance manual, and assembly manual are included. The engine and transmission were rebuilt at 130,476 miles in 1986. In 2006, all body parts were removed and repainted, all chrome was replated, all stainless trim was polished, and all rubber seals were replaced. The headliner, seat covers, and package tray were replaced in 2008.
All maintenance records are included. The brake calipers, wheel cylinders, and hoses were replaced in 2009. The radiator, belts, and hoses were replaced in 2011. The heater core and air duct heater control vacuum diaphragms were replaced in 2012. New BF Goodrich Radial TA tires were installed in March 2026.
Overall, this car is in excellent shape and runs as good as it looks. The big block 455 is factory rated at 365 HP and 500 ft-lbs of torque. The acceleration is very strong and the car handles well.
