1970 Mustang Grande Coupe
Perfect for a Restomod.
Have Marti report.
V8 302 Engine
Milage says about 19k, but I believe it had rolled over. Not sure of the engine and when/if it was rebuilt.
Came from the factory as Competition Yellow and then was painted blue. Previous owner did a great paint job into this red color.
Edelbrock AVS2 500 CFM Carburetor
Underneath there is some surface rust, but this is NOT a rust bucket and nothing rusted through.
Has new LED lights
C4 Automatic transmission
Power Steering
AM Radio
My son and I have had this for several months and we've been fixing minor things and making improvements.
This is not a 'Show car'... it does have imperfections, but it is nice looking and catches the eye. Everytime you stop for gas someone will comment on it.
What needs to be worked on:
The reverse lights don't come on unless the shifter is just in the right spot. The linkage underneath will need adjusting to get it right.
The passenger side mirror is not able to hold its position. I tried to fix it... but it may be worth it to buy a brand new one.
The dash lights do not come on. Either add lights (or fix the wiring), but if I were to keep it I would install one of those cool digital dashes.
The driver side door knob... I broke the rod... I've ordered another one and will replace it
The dash pad needs to be replaced.
Because of the aftermarket seats, it is a little tight getting in. Would recommend installing tilt steering or getting seats that are lower.
The center console, although not in terrible condition I would replace it with an aftermarket.
There is a small hole/tear in the head liner... about an inch and a half.
There is some slight rubbing of tire to fender on front driver side sometimes when turning to the right. Fender will need to be rolled or tires switched out to something that is more narrow.
Located near Frederick Maryland.
Title is clean, in my name and in my hand.
Perfect for a Restomod.
