Given that the 21st century has seen a sort of return to the roots aspect for the Mustang, it was probably only a matter of time before the Boss 302 made a return. Over the last few years there's been steady and growing interest in the concept of a new-age Trans Am Special.
Jim Clarke led the charge with the creation of the 5.0 HO V8 for the Mustang in 1982 and was responsible for the continuous improvement of the 5.0 throughout the '80s. What Jim and his team accomplished is truly amazing.

Calling West Michigan home for its whole life, this Mach 1 is finished in an eye catching color combination. Our client began tinkering with the car when he acquired it about 5 years ago. The car was gone through with updates to the engine, braking system, body, and a number of interior parts. A bunch of receipts for parts, and a Marti Report give a glimpse of the cars documented history. Stand out from the crowd with this bright red, Mach 1! Who doesnt love a red Mustang? Black Mach 1 graphics, rear spoiler, rear window louvers, and 15 Weld ProStar aluminum wheels finish off the aggressive look of this Mustang. The interior is finished in the factory correct black. A polished B&M shifter is situated between the bucket seats, and a pair of AutoMeter gauges are mounted on the center console, slightly angled at the driver. Other features found in the interior are bucket seats, console, wood grain steering wheel, AM/FM Radio, and clock. Under the hood is a 351ci Cleveland V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine was recently refreshed with a number of parts being replaced including the serpentine belt, spark plugs and wires, and the distributor. A number of aftermarket parts are now situated in the engine bay: Proform race series 750 CFM Carburetor (Dual inlet 4 BBL), Edelbrock Aluminum intake, MSD Ignition, and Optima Red Top battery. In addition to modifications to the engine, the shocks have also been recently replaced. The car is turn key ready and ready for a new garage to call home.
