LARRY'S LEGEND LIVES

Given that the 21st century has seen a sort of return to the roots aspect for the Mustang, it was probably only a matter of time before the Boss 302 made a return. Over the last few years there's been steady and growing interest in the concept of a new-age Trans Am Special.

Classic Car Overview

Completely restored. Has a pile of receipts going back to the early 90s. Very nicely optioned with factory air conditioning, power steering and power disc brakes. Great color combination you dont see often too. This is all documented with the Marti report. It was sold new to the Dallas area. EXTERIOR: I really do like the colors in this car and its really a clean body. Its straight, everything fits really nice, no issues. The metal flake paint is laid out real nice and has a wet looking clear coat finish. It has the optional painted on hood stripes. The bumpers, tail lights, gas cap, emblems have been replaced. The grill, rocker trim, glass are in really nice condition. Newer Magnum 500 15 inch wheels have BFG tires. Door jambs are clean, weather strips are good. INTERIOR: I also like the blue interior, it makes a great combination. The Mach-1s come with deluxe interiors which include high back seats and molded door panels. Inside the car is not a 10 but a real nice 8. Doesnt need a thing. Dash dash pad has been replaced, its not a glue on cap. Upholstery, door panels, carpet, headliner are all very nice. It has its seatbelts, owners manual, stock Am-Fm stereo. There is a small gauge cluster that gives you temp, oil pressure and amp readings. This is held on with velcro and can easily hidden. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 351 Cleveland has been completely rebuilt and balanced in 2014. The motor is enhanced with an Edelbrock intake and carburetor and a set of headers. It is dressed up with chrome air cleaner, valve covers, air conditioning shroud and support bars. The metal has been painted semi gloss black. The air conditioning system is updated with the R134 freon. It has power steering and brake systems. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean metal with a reproduction mat. UNDERSIDE: The floors look really clean and original. Frame rails, torque boxes, factory seams are all very dry, solid metal. The FMX cruise-o-matic trans was rebuilt. Dual exhaust looks recent. Has Monroe shocks. Everything looks proper- e-brake cables are hooked up, front end components look good, power steering components look recent. Has disc brakes in front. Has 3.00 rear end ratio. Its a sharp looker with great options! Air conditioning Power steering Power disc brakes Deluxe interior Competition suspension Magnum wheels Hood stripe Spoilers Marti report
