Given that the 21st century has seen a sort of return to the roots aspect for the Mustang, it was probably only a matter of time before the Boss 302 made a return. Over the last few years there’s been steady and growing interest in the concept of a new-age Trans Am Special.
Jim Clarke led the charge with the creation of the 5.0 HO V8 for the Mustang in 1982 and was responsible for the continuous improvement of the 5.0 throughout the ’80s. What Jim and his team accomplished is truly amazing.

Classic Car Overview
1970 Ford Mustang $47,900
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this excellent and gorgeous 1970 Mach 1 for your consideration. Finished in a perfect shade of Grabber Orange with black racing stripes, this car is incredible. Fitted with the dealer installed black splitter and spoiler, as well as branded side sill covers, and a honeycomb rear plate surround. The paintwork is excellent and the car shines like it did when it left the factory. The current owners have had the car for the last ten years and claim to have pampered it, having driven around 500 miles since purchasing it. A huge binder of receipts from the previous owner suggest that the car had been restored around 2002-2004, and the condition of the car seems to back that up. The black interior is excellent as well, with rip and stain free bucket seats, a wood deep dish steering wheel and wood trim dress up package. An original T-handle shifter is present for the automatic transmission.
The 351cid Cleveland 2bbl V8 is said to have been rebuilt and it is a very solid engine that puts out about 250hp. It starts without a hitch and pulls strong. The 3-speed automatic shifts smoothly. The car is equipped with power disc brakes as well as power steering, dual beam headlights and rear window louvres.
A beautiful example of one of Fords greatest Mustangs, this 1970 is ready to rumble. Offering an affordble price as well as the right colors and options. It comes with a huge binder of service work, the original and replacement set of wheels as well as two sets of keys.
