12 Valve Cummins 6BT Turbo Diesel, Professional Engine Swap with 5 Speed Manual Transmission.
This is a very clean, well sorted, solid and straight pick up. Everything is in great condition and proper working order. I swapped in the venerable 12V Cummins from a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500, the best year Cummins with factory intercooler and P-Pump providing high output.
Turbo diesel and 5 speed means she gets 22MPG at 75mph on the highway!
Mechanic owned and operated, wouldn't hesitate to drive this thing across country tomorrow. Daily driven, fully sorted, beautiful classic truck with all the creature comforts of today. This truck is a tank, you can't break these things. With that Cummins turbo diesel in there, you can pull any boat or RV your heart so desires.
Fires right up, even in cold and after long sits for weeks on end. Does not smoke at all or burn or leak a drop of oil.
So many other small parts and items I've cleaned up and/or replaced over the years to recall. You simply won't find another truck like this out there.
Truck has fully updated interior with Ice Cold A/C. Dynamat sound deadening insulation throughout entire interior, including roof. Triple padded insulation and carpet makes this thing drive like a dream. As quiet inside as a new BMW. Has bluetooth stereo with aux input and Polk Audio coaxial 6x9s. Also, pre-wired for subs and component speakers with high quality JL Audio 4 gauge power cables and RCAs. A/C-Heater system completely fresh install, running new Classic Auto Air system from Texas, every single component brand new, condenser, compressor, evap and heater core, blower, housing, lines, etc. Everything tucks nicely up under the dash like a modern system. Air so cold it literally makes me shiver in the summer.

Just installed new energy suspension poly I-Beam bushings.
Just service crank oil and filter, fuel filter, recent brake pads and shoes. Everything works, Ebrake, all electrical, lights all in proper order.
Paint is as shown, but it is not perfect, has some chipping and flaws, mainly on the bed. Some bits of surface rust on the bodyline where the paint cracked. Not rusted through anywhere, arizona truck through and through. Zero rust underneath.
Truck drives extremely well. Modern power steering and power brakes along with the 5 speed make this a beaut to drive. Turns with one finger on the wheel.
I just completed a 2500 mile round trip to San Francisco and back to Phoenix. Not a single issue. I did a run from LA to Phoenix with three motorcycles in the back without stopping, in the middle of the day in the summer, the temp gauge didn't budge and the AC kept me cool and comfy the whole trip.
Approximately 78K miles on the truck, and 175K on the motor and trans. (Have carfax for truck engine and trans were pulled from upon request) These engines are know for going 500,000 miles before being overhauled. They power school buses, and all sorts of heavy construction equipment around the world. Very easy to get any service parts for. You can find whatever you need in most towns from Alaska to Argentina. All mechanical system, does not need power to run, this thing is EMP proof. Great Bug Out truck! Majority of components are serviceable in the field.
I also have a set of factory steel wheels with chrome hub caps in good shape and roller tires that go along with it.
Will arrange for shipment if so desired at your expense. Engine and trans are worth half asking price easy, appraised by Hagerty at 30k.
