1970 Ford Bronco

Few classic 4x4s have achieved the lasting popularity of the first-generation Ford Bronco. Introduced for the 1966 model year, the Bronco debuted with compact dimensions, simple construction, and genuine off-road capability in a package that remains just as enjoyable today.

This 1970 Ford Bronco has been rebuilt and upgraded throughout the past several years. Finished in Bright Red, it retains its classic design while adding a black roll cage, lifted suspension, American Racing black steel wheels, and Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires for a more aggressive stance.

Power comes from a 302-cubic-inch Ford V8 equipped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, K&N air cleaner, aluminum radiator, and cooling fan with shroud. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission featuring a short, close shift pattern that gives the Bronco a particularly direct and enjoyable feel from behind the wheel.

Four-wheel drive is controlled through a floor-mounted transfer case with twin-stick controls. The chassis has been upgraded with lifted coil-spring suspension, dual front shocks, upgraded rear shocks, a front stabilizer bar, power steering, and power-assisted brakes.

Inside, the Bronco features a fully redone custom interior finished in black and gray plaid. High-back front bucket seats are joined by a matching rear bench seat, center console, padded dashboard, full carpeting, and matching upholstered interior panels. Additional upgrades include a wood-rimmed steering wheel, aftermarket stereo, and custom speaker enclosure.
