Classic Car Overview

GR Auto Gallery is excited to present this 1970 Dodge Charger R/T Clone finished in Light Blue Poly with a white vinyl top that remains in very nice condition. This Charger has the kind of presence that made the model legendary, with long body lines, aggressive stance, and a color combination that feels perfectly at home in the muscle car era. One of the standout qualities of this car is its structural condition. The body is rust free, which is extremely rare for a 1970 Charger, and the undercarriage shows exceptionally well and is believed to be largely original. The rear quarter panels were professionally replaced approximately fifteen to twenty years ago, along with a new trunk pan installed by a previous owner, adding long term durability and value.

Power comes from a 440 cubic inch big block V8, a period correct and highly desirable upgrade from the original 383. This engine runs strong and healthy, backed by a four speed manual transmission with a sought after pistol grip shifter that adds both visual appeal and an authentic muscle car driving experience. Recent maintenance includes a new manifold gasket installed in fall of 2025, a new electrical unit, and consistent oil changes roughly every nine hundred miles, showing this Charger has been driven and cared for rather than parked and forgotten. Brakes, drums, and pads were replaced a couple of years ago, and overall drivability is solid and confidence inspiring.

Inside, the car features a fresh blue interior with wood accents that was installed by a previous owner, giving the cabin a clean and updated feel. White leather seating contrasts nicely with the blue interior panels and carpets, while blue seatbelts, crank windows, and classic styling cues keep the car true to its era. The interior condition is often a deciding factor for buyers, and this Charger delivers a strong impression the moment you open the door. The radio is present for aesthetics but not currently hooked up, maintaining the classic look of the dash.

The 1970 Charger is one of the most iconic muscle cars ever built, and this example offers the looks, sound, and driving experience enthusiasts want without the price tag of an original R T. While it is a clone, it benefits from a powerful 440 conversion, a rust free body, a solid underside, and a new interior, all of which are major value items. A few items remain to be sorted, including a non functioning RPM gauge and vacuum operated headlights, though the headlights do function manually. For buyers looking for a strong running, structurally sound Charger with big block power and serious presence, this is a compelling and honest muscle car.
