Built to homologate the special equipment needed to be successful on the SCCA road-racing circuit, Dodge built a limited number of its new challenger models with the A53 Trans Am package in 1970. Of the 73,935 Challengers produced in 1970, only 2,399 (less than 4%) were built with the A53 Trans Am Package. And of those 2,399 cars, only 1,410 were manufactured with an automatic transmission. Along with the car, you will find plenty of documentation showing the building of the car, the authentication of the car, as well as other articles detailing this spectacular vehicle. This Challenger comes to us from a great client who maintains his vehicles to the highest standards and this T/A is no exception. With 68,498 miles on the odometer, this 1970 Challenger T/A is ready for a new home.
