Classic Car Overview

If youre looking for an easy going, cruiser Mopar, we can show you something else in our inventory. Instead, this 1970 Dodge Challenger is a Hemi pro-street machine rated at 1,000 horsepower on E85. So it can eat up any asphalt from the boulevard to the dragstrip. The fact that this full professional build also happens to be made from one of your favorite classic American sports car icons is just the cherry on top. This might be an iconic classic, but you can also instantly see it was built for intimidation. Everything from the side mirrors to the badging was deleted for a sleek coupe And theres no mistaking the stance of a small front tire and tubed rear end. While the ultra-sick two-tone looks like it went over classic sheetmetal, this is a true full build. So that means weight saving pieces like fiberglass bumpers and a carbon trunk lid. You also may notice its missing one of its quad headlights (to directly feed the turbo of the monster motor.) The reason for such an intimidating machine is because youre looking at a car that was not only engineered by Kurt Busch Inc., but also fans of the show Pinks: All Out will remember seeing Kurt Busch behind the wheel! Inside is more of that race-ready attitude. You get a full true race cage built to the special chassis that was done for NHRA 7.50 Sportsman specifications. You and your passenger strap into proper racing seats with full Schroth racing harnesses. Theres more of the right safety with a Stroud parachute system and full fire suppression system. This doesnt mess around with pedestrian accessories. Instead, you have RacePak on-board data system and clearly labeled toggle switches for all your important components. The steel steering wheel has that hardy professional feeling, and the dash is dominated by a AutoMeter Carbon Fiber gauge package. Oh yes, this is everything you need for a true racer. We know youve been waiting about all those amazing details about whats under the hood, and we can tell you its even better than you imagined. Its a 6.1-liter Hemi V8 built by famed master Jimmy Barton. The build starts with a Mopar aluminum block dry-sump motor, and it gets enhanced and fortified with a Bryant Racing custom ground crankshaft, Carrillo H-beam rods, Mahle box-in-box pistons, Thitek billet cylinder heads, Jesel valvetrain, Comp Cams custom ground turbo camshaft, Wilson Manifolds throttle body, Injector dynamics ID1000 Injectors, and a FAST fuel injection fuel management system. And yes, its a turbo machine with a Precision 110mm turbocharger, Precision dual wastegates, and KBI custom water to air intercooler. Its an awesome setup that has pulled dyno figures of 1,300 horsepower. Its currently tuned to make 1,000 hp with 12lbs of boost on E85 fuel. The transmission is a HD Powerglide unit built by Bernard Weaver. It includes a Greg Slack torque converter and SFI-approved ATI bell housing. This feeds a Driveshaft Shop driveshaft on its way to a Speedway Engineering custom Ford 9-inch rear end. The undercarriage photos show the full custom chromoly chassis with all the best suspension pieces. It includes tubular front crossmember with custom KBI control arms, a four-link rear w/pro stock wishbone, and a four-wheel disc brakes system with a Strange Engineering master cylinder and front line lock. There are tons more details of everything that went into this awesome Challenger, and many of the best pieces even come with a spare, so call us for the full info. Its the serious race-style Mopar with all the right builder names you want. So if you live in the quarter-mile, then you know you need this car. Call now!
