Classic Car Overview
Here we have a real SS with the original 350/300 horsepower engine and original 4-speed transmission that sends the power to the 3.73-geared, 12-bolt Positraction rear end. Power steering and power front disc brakes round out the running gear of this sharp Nova SS.
Although originally a Green Mist (Code 45) car, the Nova now has a sharp Forest Green covering the all-original sheet metal thats in excellent condition. The SS hood with its simulated vents and a set of factory sport wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich Radial T/As rounds out the serious curb (or Cars and Coffee) appeal.
Inside, the original interior is in good condition apart from some cracks atop the dash pad and a seam split on the rear seat. Note that a new dash pad goes with the car. The Hurst 4-speed stick along with the small factory tach hint at the cars mission in life, while a tilt steering column with an aftermarket wood-rimmed SS-style wheel adds some comfort and pizazz. Theres also a premium sound system featuring an AM/FM/XM tuner with Bluetooth capability.
This Nova SS runs and drives great and sounds great doing so as you run up through the gears, while the power steering and power brakes make for an easy to handle performer. Overall, this is a very solid and nice driver-quality example of Chevrolets compact but power-packed muscle car.
