Classic Car Overview

Beautifully restored Daytona Yellow 1970 CORVETTE STINGRAY ROADSTER with LS5 - 454 cubic inch 390 horsepower motor, 4-speed manual transmission, and original factory air conditioning.  Asking $62,500.  1970 was the third year of the C3 body style and was the lowest production year since 1962.  This particular car came off the line in June 1970 and was one of 17,316 built that year.  Production numbers reflect only 6648 were convertibles and only 4473 (both coupes and convertibles) were powered with the pure muscle big block engine.  Although this car’s odometer reads 83,500 miles, there are just 3,500 miles on its high performance engine, and the interior is new (visors, carpet, dash, door panels, seat covers, stereo, etc.)  The Rochester Quadrajet carb was rebuilt in 2015 (a few hundred miles ago).  Professional frame-on restoration was completed in February 2018.  This baby is in exceptional condition--it looks new inside, outside, under the hood and underneath, and runs like a fine Swiss watch!   Must see to appreciate.  Comes with meticulous documentation of parts, complete maintenance records and mileage entries by current owner since 1996 (all receipts included).  Receipts from prior owner are also included.  Buyer will receive all books and manuals, parts and accessories, 1970 license plates, a brand new car cover, and coveted R12 refrigerant.  A pristine car of this caliber and condition!  Car is located in Ocala, Florida. Serious Corvette buyers may request an appointment.  No dealer inquiries, please.  Private owner contact 817-308-2709 by voice or text.
