The trim tag or data plate is also correctly riveted on the top of the cowl on the drivers side. Also please note that 1970 was the first year that the Super Sport became an option within the Malibu line, instead of being a stand alone model, with the importance of documentation, such as a copy of the factory build sheet or a window sticker, to be considered essential to absolutely proving authenticity; and therefore as no such documentation exists for this particular example it should be considered a beautifully restored Malibu clone!
