Classic Car Overview

I tore the whole truck apart, blasted what I could save and bought new what I needed. Every stitch of rubber has been replaced and the entire truck has been sealed and painted/coated. Everything in this truck is either rebuilt or new. The original bed was replaced with a 88-98 C/K1500 stepside bed, but I glassed in the original 1970 wheel well openings and transferred the 1970 tailgate details into the new tailgate. The new bed shaved a couple hundred pounds off the truck weight and makes it look almost factory. The whole truck sits on mechanical leveling air suspension, that gives the quality of air ride but allows the front to maintain proper wheel alignment and is always at the same ride height. I pulled 4000 lbs loaded on a trailer as a test and the ride height and quality did not change one bit. The rear of the frame has been drastically notched and reinforced as far as it would go without cutting into the bed. The only part of the braking system that is left from when I started rebuilding is the brake pedal, every single line, rotor, pad, tee fitting has been replaced. The AC is a hurricane unit from old air products. It is entirely servo operated, which means no sticking cables or vacuum leaks will come about. It blows really cold, really hot and everywhere in between plus has a defroster. The stereo is brand new and matches the color of digital gauges; it only needs to be tuned to whatever music you want to listen to, whether that is rock or you want to have your back massaged by the two 10" subwoofers that are behind the seat. Everything goes down the road with a good old fashioned 350 and an automatic with overdrive, even with the 3.73 in the rear it only spins about 2300 at 70 mph. I really get a kick out of this truck but I mostly just enjoy building them. I am still driving and tinkering with the truck every other day but I really just want someone else to buy it and enjoy it so I can move on to building the next one. The list price is just a list price, mostly to scare off all the people that would otherwise try to offer me nothing for it. If you think you want it, tell me what you think it's worth and we can come to a deal. I know full well this truck will sell lower than list price.
